Geha (Germany)

Geha (Germany)
Founded in Hannover in 1918 by the brothers Heinrich and Conrad Hartmann, it produced pens until its closure starting in the 50s. Its greatest contribution was inventing an ink reserve in the tank when the ink seemed to be running out. This gave a lot of momentum to the company and to the consideration of its pens. It also had a strong presence in schools with its pens for students. It had three market segments: high-end, mid-range, and student. So, it had three product lines: REGENT, STANDARD, and STUDENT. With the latter, it resisted the push of the ballpoint pen to the point of creating a cheap line with a cartridge in 1963, being the first German company to do so. In 1991, it was absorbed by PELIKAN.
